When my older son Floyd turned nine years old, I arranged a special birthday party event for him: We recorded a song! A few days before David Bowie had died. Floyd wanted to know more about him and I remembered that there had been a German version of his song "Heroes". I showed it to him and he decided that this should be the song he wanted to re-create on his party day. And so we did! Everyone had great fun and the end result even got mentioned in magazines like "Musikexpress".

Floyd's Birthday Band only came together once for this very special event. Time flies by... they're growing up so fast!
