Working with Little Rubikon felt like being in some kind of dream state. We experimented with delicate melodies and sounds and once our basic song was finished, Eva composed an arrangement for her string quartet. On the final day they came into the studio and we recorded their part as if they had been playing it a thousand times already - effortlessly!

The unusual setup of string quartet, piano and vocals might let you expect something different than what LITTLE RUBICON is actually creating. Composed during sleepless nights, their songs sound like darkness, moonlight and sleepwalking. "At night when all people are asleep, Little Rubikon flies to Sirius. Here, songs are spinning around in circles. Little Rubikon dives in deeply. In the morning Little Rubikon awakens with a song." Dreamlike and whimsical are the songs of Little Rubikon.
